OnePlus Dead Pixel Test
OnePlus phones do not have a built-in hardware diagnostic code. Use the browser test above — tap Start Full Screen Test and cycle through all colours. Modern OnePlus flagships use AMOLED panels: dead pixels appear completely black on all colours; stuck pixels appear as bright coloured dots on black.
Test models: OnePlus 12, 13, Open (foldable), Nord series. Set brightness to maximum and disable Sunlight Display mode before testing.
OnePlus Dead Pixel Warranty
OnePlus provides a 1-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defect dead pixels. Dead pixels from physical damage are not covered. To submit a claim, go to oneplus.com/support → select your device → submit a repair request. OnePlus service centres are less widespread than Samsung or Apple — mail-in repair is the primary option in most markets.
OnePlus Open (foldable): similar to Samsung Z Fold, fold-crease dead pixels from normal use may qualify for warranty coverage — document and report promptly.
Repair and Trade-In Options
For out-of-warranty OnePlus dead pixels: third-party repair shops typically offer screen replacement at lower cost than manufacturer service. Trade-in programmes for OnePlus are available through carriers — dead pixels will reduce the trade-in value. See the trade-in guide for more.
